After 4-5 days in the hospital waiting for Jan's kidney stone to pass, it's good to be finally back and headed into a regular sleeping pattern. There is much to report.
First, Jan's doing much better now-the whole ordeal was done last night and we were able to return home again. Today she is feeling 'munchy' inside.
Second, the Neil Diamond concert was everything we hoped it would be and more. The best part was the 80 year-old woman by us who was dancing up a storm. It was pretty pure.

Oh, your poor wife! I can't imagine having kidney stones while pregnant! Give her my sympathy and tell her I am so glad she is better. I am also glad the concert was enjoyable!
Man, that's rough. I'm sorry about the sleepless nights...but I'm glad she's feeling munchy now. I can kind of see the lack of sleep taking its toll on your drawing there chief. I mean, the fingers (or lack thereof), the square shoes, the missing leg, the protruding dentures. These are details that wouldn't go unnoticed if you had enough REM, you know? Well, I hope you have a restful and healthy holiday. Glad Neil delivered.
You mean to say my drawings are less than professional quality?
Glad someone enjoyed the Neil concert besides me and Kris. Your head bobbed during "Shiloh" and that was it. You weren't "Bom bom bom" ing during "Sweet Caroline" or holding your arm up with every "Today!" when he lead us through "America." You also weren't dancing like me and Kris during "Cherry, Cherry" when Neil commnaded us to dance.
When Neil asks you to do something, you do it. Because those orders are as close from heaven as possible.
If you should ever have a kidney stone I'll be sure to visit you in the hospital, patch Neil through, and see how much dancing you do.
Your wife had the kidney stone, not you. She is excused for not dancing, however, you are not.
